One of my favorite things to do is travel! I love the excitement of a new place, new people to meet, and even love the ride there! (Well, most of the time! 😉 ) International travel usually means passports and we used to have a great wallet to carry ours, when it was just the two of us! Now that it’s two more, that means two more sets of travel documents! So I decided, I’ll try and find a pattern and sew one up! Found a great pattern called the Adorn Passport (Instructions and Pattern) and modified it. I added three more passport pockets and an extra zippered pocket. Oh, I chose the all black look, so hubby could walk around with it! Here’s the result!

Recently, I had the privilege of testing for a new pattern designer, Holli Coats of Hello Holli. I love supporting new designers because I know it’s not easy to be the newcomer. Btw, Holli has done an amazing job on her first time!
Now on to the dress! It’s called the Blue Ridge Dress/Top. It is an intermediate pattern but very clear instructions so beginners need not be intimidated! It also has, one of my favorite things, French seams! I love that all my
ugly seams can be hid! Since my kids are wearing these, they can be comfortable in it too. No itchy seams to bother them!
I made mine in a beautiful woven material perfect for special occasions!
Here’s a few pictures for you to enjoy!
